Government Energy Aggregation Program

Municipalities have the ability to pool together the energy usage of all their residents to obtain a lower energy supply price than what the Local Distribution Company is currently charging. If they get a lower price, they can then offer it to all their residents.

Wayne Township will be holding Public Forums on Government Energy Aggregation in the Council Chambers of Town Hall at 475 Valley Rd:

Monday, February 29, 2016 @ 4:00 P.M.
Monday, February 29, 2016 @ 7:00 P.M.

CDBG 2016 Action Plan

The Township of Wayne, located in Passaic County, New Jersey is a 26.6 square mile suburban community with over 50,000 residents. It first achieved direct entitlement status in fiscal year 1990. The township continues to provide varied housing opportunities as well as expanding opportunities for improvement in the quality of life for its residents. The use of Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) funding has been an important tool in meeting this goal.

Drought Watch

Residents are asked to voluntarily conserve water by limiting their lawn sprinkling and other non-essential water usage.
