Operation Take Back

The Wayne Township Police Department, in conjunction with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, will be holding the annual “Operation Take Back” prescription pill take back program in the lobby of Wayne Police Headquarters on Saturday April 29th, 2017 from the hours of 10:00 (A.M.) to 2:00 (P.M.). This anonymous prescription pill take back initiative provides Wayne residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of any unwanted, unused and expired prescription medications in a safe manner. Only prescription pills will be collected. NO liquids and NO needles/syringes will be collected. We recommend that residents empty their unwanted pills from their containers and secure them into a plastic zip lock style bag prior to arriving at headquarters and depositing the pills into the collection box.
