With the Township only controlling 20% of our tax bills, our major responsibility is attempting to keep our tax base as stable as possible.  I am proud to commend our Township employees for continuing to do a fantastic job with a sleeker workforce!

Finance Budget

budget
Each year, Wayne Township prepares an annual budget that is approved by the Township Council and the State of New Jersey. This process starts when the municipal department hands submit their budget proposals for review by the Business Administrator and the Finance Department.  After review and revision, the budget is introduced to the Township Council for approval. If approved by the Council, the budget is then submitted to the Division of Local Government Services in Trenton for its review and approval.

The current 2020 introduced budget can be found on the Finance Documents page.
