Passaic County: October 2026 Extended Hours Schedule
Clerk Danielle Ireland-Imhof is pleased to announce the extended office hours for October 2026. The Clerk’s Office will process Passport applications, issue Notary Oaths and Veteran’s Photo ID Cards on the following dates:
William Paterson University Passport Fair
Passaic County Clerk Danielle Ireland-Imhof is pleased to announce that the office is bringing vital services directly to the community with a Passport Fair at William Paterson University. Aligned with the National Passport Center’s new guidance, this event will make it more convenient for residents and students to access passport services closer to home.

2026 Tax Rate Update
As of July 17, 2026, the 2026 Final/2027 Preliminary Tax Bills have been updated and the amounts due are available on our website for viewing or payment.
The bill is currently being prepared for printing and mailing and should be in the mail by July 24, 2026.
The new grace period for the 3rd Quarter and ONLY the 3rd Quarter 2026 will be extended to August 19, 2026. Any payments received after August 19, 2026, will accrue interest to the original due date of August 1, 2026 per statute.

Wayne Township has implemented a permanent alternate day watering schedule to level out weekly water usage.

Tree Removal Permit and Affordable Housing Information
