2026 Tax Rate Update

As of July 17, 2026, the 2026 Final/2027 Preliminary Tax Bills have been updated and the amounts due are available on our website for viewing or payment.
The bill is currently being prepared for printing and mailing and should be in the mail by July 24, 2026.

The new grace period for the 3rd Quarter and ONLY the 3rd Quarter 2026 will be extended to August 19, 2026. Any payments received after August 19, 2026, will accrue interest to the original due date of August 1, 2026 per statute.

The Department of Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Township’s extensive municipal infrastructure including roadways, traffic signals, street signage, storm drainage, snow removal, sanitary sewers, sewer treatment and drinking water supply and distribution. There are over 960 local Township streets, comprising more than 200 miles of infrastructure. The Department also administers the solid waste and recycling curb side collection and the Recycling Center. These divisions are located at the Department of Public Works facility at 201 Dey Road.

The Department of Public Works also includes the Engineering and Construction Code Divisions located at Town Hall at 475 Valley Road. The Engineering Division administers and provides technical support for infrastructure improvement projects such as the annual paving program and annual sidewalk replacement program and reviews subdivision, developments and other permit applications within the Township. The Construction Code Division issues all building permits within the Township and performs inspections in accordance with the Uniform Construction Code. The Recycling and Solid Waste administration is also at 475 Valley Road.
