UPDATE (12/1/2022): Effective today, December 1, 2022 the Recycling Center located at 201 Dey Road will be open an additional 2 hours until 5:00 p.m., daily 7 days per week as the Township actively negotiates a new contract for curbside recycling.

Effective December 1, 2022 curbside recycling collection (plastic/glass/cans & paper/cardboard) within the Township is postponed until further notice. Please do not place recyclables curbside or in your regular trash until further notice. Residents can continue to access the Township Recycling Center, which is open 7 days a week with extended hours from to 8 am to 5 pm, located at 201 Dey Road.

The Township will provide regular updates as necessary. The Township anticipates this postponement to last for roughly two weeks.

The Township is in active negotiations regarding the recycling collection contract which was quoted as a 152% increase over last year. In the interest of the Wayne taxpayer, the Township is doing everything possible to maintain the high level of municipal services at a fair price.

Solid waste (regular garbage) and Vegetative waste (leaves/grass/brush) are not affected and can be placed curbside as scheduled.
