Club Objective
The purpose of the Golden Age Circle of Wayne is to provide a non-sectarian and non-political recreation program where adults can meet and indulge in social, recreational and craft activities.
Regular Meetings
The Golden Age Club of Wayne meets on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. inside the Wayne P.A.L. Meetings are held each week, September through June.
Meeting activities include social events such as once a month bingo and our famous once a month buns and coffee event. At our meetings we provide members updates on club business and upcoming club programs such as bus trips and other club events.
Trips and Entertainment
GACW arranges bus trips for members to casinos, theaters and other entertainment events throughout the year.
Special luncheons are held around the holidays at local venues.
Our group also represents Wayne in the annual Tri-County Senior Olympics!
Becoming a New Member
The Golden Age Club of Wayne is open to all Wayne residents ages 50+. Non-residents may join the club if sponsored by a Wayne resident member of GACW.
Try it for Free. Wayne residents are invited to attend up to two meetings free of charge. If you like the club, membership dues are due at your third meeting.

Wayne Township nurses will be in attendance the first Thursday of each month for blood pressure testing.

Wayne Township Scheduled Bus Service
Besides being available to take members to GACW meetings and the Brownstone, it also has scheduled routes to various locations in Wayne.
It is a shared service and the bus can make multiple stops before it reaches its destination.
The buses are handicapped enabled.
When making a reservation please make sure that you tell the driver you need the handicapped lift.
This is a FREE service for Wayne residents.

Passaic County ParaTransit
Passaic County Paratransit is a curb to curb transportation service for senior citizens and people with disabilities residing in Passaic County. Seniors are eligible at 60 years of age. Service animals and portable oxygen will be accommodated.
You may call Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM to reserve a trip. Trips may be one-way, round trip or recurring trips. All rides are scheduled on a first come first served basis, depending on availability.
• Lift equipped vans are available to accommodate people using a mobility device.
• Transportation to the Veteran’s Hospital in East Orange is available every Monday and Tuesday by Passaic County Paratransit.
