2026 ELECTION DATES TO REMEMBER
Primary Election
March 23rd – Petition Filing Deadline for Primary Election (before 4:00 P.M.)
April 8th – Last day to file a Party Affiliation/Declaration Form to change Political Party for Primary Election
May 12th – LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR PRIMARY ELECTION
(Township Clerk’s Office is open from 8:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.)
May 26th – Last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot Application
May 26th – May 31st – Early Voting Period
June 1st – Last day to file Mail-In Ballot Application in person at the County Clerk’s Office (up to 3:00 P.M. on the day before election)
June 2nd – Last day for Independent Candidates to file a petition with the County Clerk (before 4:00 P.M.)
June 2nd – PRIMARY ELECTION 6:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.
General Election
October 13th – LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN GENERAL ELECTION
(Township Clerk’s Office is open from 8:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.)
October 27th – Last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot Application
Oct. 24th – Nov. 1st – Early Voting Period
November 2nd – Last day to file Mail-In Ballot Application in person at the County Clerk’s Office (up to 3:00 P.M. on the day before election)
November 3rd – GENERAL ELECTION DAY 6:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.
